My husband and I had a cozy stay at Hostal Zipolite Arteaga in a private room. Initially hesitant due to mixed reviews, we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and functionality of our accommodations. The hot shower and crisp linens made for a comfortable night's rest, despite the room showing signs of age. The staff's flexibility in adjusting our reservation was greatly appreciated, showcasing their hospitality. Conveniently located near notable attractions like Ethnobotanical Garden and Monte Albán, the hostel's proximity to key points of interest enriched our exploration of Oaxaca. Express check-in and free WiFi were convenient amenities that enhanced our stay, allowing us to stay connected while on the go. The sun terrace provided a charming spot to unwind, offering a peaceful retreat within the bustling city. While not a luxury stay, Hostal Zipolite Arteaga served as a practical and affordable base for our Oaxacan adventures, catering to our budget-conscious travel approach.
